AskWhisper, a Belgian startup specializing in AI-driven guest journey solutions for the hospitality industry, announced today that it has raised €750,000 in pre-seed funding.

The investment will enable the company's mission to contribute to memorable travel experiences for hotel guests by enabling hoteliers to leverage a centralised, powerful guest journey platform.

Founded by CEO Martijn Van Dooren and CTO Matko Matic in June 2024, AskWhisper offers a platform that helps hoteliers say goodbye to a scattered mess of tools. The platform is a smart combination of concepts like digital guides and virtual concierges on WhatsApp, empowered by AI and managed local content. The platform leads to reduced staff workload, consistent information delivery, elevated guest satisfaction, and increased ancillary revenues.

The pre-seed round is composed of various different angel investors with backgrounds ranging from growth experts and hoteliers, to seasoned SaaS professionals and unicorn founders. Well-known names that are backing the investment include Matthias Geeroms, Vincent Goemaere, Ivo Minjauw, Peter De Moor, Niels Vanden Buverie, and others.

With this new capital infusion, AskWhisper plans to further develop its product offerings, invest in marketing efforts to increase brand awareness, and expand its team by hiring top talent in sales, development, and customer support.​
